per inch, is what it cost me to get my car back. $442 = $72 for someone to sign the release form, $330 for the impound yard (don't get me started on how they calculate their storage days!! Lets just say RIP OFF) and another $40 for a PARKING TICKET! OH and thats what got us towed. 6 FREAKING inches. I was parked 7 feet from the railroad tracks and you must be 7 1/2. WTF?
But I got my car and lesson learned I guess. I still don't see why they couldn't just pull the card backwards 6 inches and slap me with a parking fine and tow service call bill. But whatever...

they seriously fined you guys? wow. I don't know of anyone that actually knows how many inches you must be from the tracks!
