Great start to the weekend!

Last night my friend Gail and I went for a bike ride after work. I get back to the office and go to get showered and changed for quilt group. I go in and check on Dad and the boys and see Logan is laying on Judd and just looks miserable. Judd said that Tammy told him he had puked at school. She thinks it was just him coughing up snot and well... you know how that goes. Anyway I head off to quilt group and Judd heads home. I get home and hear that Logan had a complete emotional meltdown when they got home. He didn't want to get his pjs on, he didn't want medicine, he didn't want to go to bed (this after falling asleep in the car on the way home).

So he gets him dosed up on Tylenol, into pjs and into bed and runs Ronan a bath. By the time the tub was ready Logan was fast asleep.... So Daddy and Ronan played games in the tub and then went to bed. I got home about 10 get pjs on and into bed and Ronan starts crying. I go and try and get him back to sleep but its a no go so I take him upstairs and watch my DVR shows, Grey's and TUF. He seems to be having some tummy troubles, he would hunch over and cry and then settle then start over again. Finally after about 2 hours he finally completely settled into sleep. So at 1 I get to bed, then at 2 Logan starts coughing and crying. So I get him some water and he wants me to snuggle so I lay down with him for about 15 min and Ronan wakes up again. I give up and put him in bed with us and finally got a little bit of sleep.

Then this morning as I was getting dressed I hear Ronan coming down the stairs. I hear a slosh of him chugging something and see he has ahold of the Tylenol bottle! I snatch it away and wash his mouth out and his face off. I call Dr B and they give me the number of poison control I call them and tell them what I know: He did drink some, the bottle was not full and there are 2 teaspoons left in the bottle. Since it is so toxic when overdosed they said since I couldn't say for sure how much was in the bottle to begin with it would be best to take him to the ER. So down we go to Sierra Vista. Again go through the details. All his vitals are normal and they say they are pretty certain he's fine but they go for the worst case scenario, that the bottle was 3/4 full (we were pretty sure it was only 1/2 full). So they get a weight (28 pounds) and call poison control and figure out what the toxicity levels would be for ingesting that much Tylenol at his weight. Thankfully he came in under the level so we didn't have to do any blood work or try and make him drink charcoal. ICK. if we would have had to do blood work we would have had to stay there for 3 hours! They take a base level then test again 3 hrs later. I was just thinking "good googly moogly how am I going to entertain a hungry, crabby toddler in the ER for 3 freaking hours?" But it was a moot point since he was fine. I was hoping when we got home to take a little nap but oh hell no. Ronan is literally bouncing off things. He is so tired but he just WOULD not go to sleep. bleh.

Logan however is miserable. His fever keeps coming back and he looks like crapola. You only have to look at him to see he is sick. Poor lil bugger. So it was a good call to postpone the birthday party. Hate to share the "love" with everyone. Hopefully next weekend no one will be sick and the weather will cooperate.

And hopefully nothing else will go wrong this weekend. I'm a little scared to go on my training ride. Someone might run me over or something....
