Paso Robles Holiday Parade

Last night was the holiday parade in Paso.  The boys preschool had a float and we were part of it.  I totally forgot to bring my camera so I have no photos of the completed lighted up version but here is the beginnings of it anyway.

That big tree in the middle is one of those blow up things.  Since we had no electrical energy we stuffed it full of packing peanuts.  Ingenuity!

Here is a front version

We had glow sticks on the spokes of the wheels and the wheels on my bike.  There were more snowmen around the base of the tree and a few more free standing silver trees that we put changing color pumpkin lights under.  The little snowmen you see at the base of the tree also change color.

Logan rode the big float and Ronan wouldn't have anything to do with riding the big float, not even with Daddy so they sad on the sidelines and just watched.  It was COLD.  I had my thickest wool socks on, my logn johns and gloves and even riding the bike was STILL freezing.  I thought my toes would never defrost.
It was fun theough.  we got lots of good ideas for next year.

Penelope (who helped me get the float to the above stage) and I have decided CBO is going to have a float in the SLO holiday parade next year.  Fun stuff.
