During the service the pastor likened grief to the Trinity River. How in the fall its flat and black and in winter is raging and crashing, in the spring its fast rushing and silvery and full of new life and in the summer its cool and refreshing and happy. I think I'm still in the fall. I just can't seem to care about anything. Just trying to make it through the day. I hate to think I'm ruining this season for the boys as I just can't gather up any enthusiasm for anything.
Then again there are many people worse off than I am but its my blog and I can whine if I want to right?
Off to drag down Christmas decorations.....

I totally sympathize! At least you are putting one foot in front of the other and that is all that counts.
