December already

Can we turn back the clock?  I'm not ready.  I'm uninspired.

So anyway lots of photos.  These were when we were up at grandpa's for the funeral.

TJ and Ronan playing flick the lego

Sheri, Veronica and Janet making tacos
 Ronan and Eli
 Cousins aplenty
Can't go anywhere without jumping off something
 Eli
 Eli and Grandma
Posing, Andrew, James, Ronan and Logan who had to have his bike in there.

 Perfect shot.

 oops
Trying to get a shot of the three of them didn't work too well.  Eli wasn't interested
The whole family.  Brian, Andrew, Dad, James, Ronan, Ronnie, Veronica, Me, Logan, Eli, Sheri.  We all look a bit worse for wear.

 Hi Mac
 Cheese
 Dad cutting the turkey
 Mini family pic
We went and saw Wreck it Ralph
Logan had a field trip to a local art studio a couple months back and Dec 1st their art was displayed.
There's a Santa in my tub
Logans 5th tooth finally came out
 Anticipating the SLO light parade
I caved and bought them Light sticks

During the service the pastor likened grief to the Trinity River.  How in the fall its flat and black and in winter is raging and crashing, in the spring its fast rushing and silvery and full of new life and in the summer its cool and refreshing and happy.   I think I'm still in the fall.  I just can't seem to care about anything.  Just trying to make it through the day.  I hate to think I'm ruining this season for the boys as I just can't gather up any enthusiasm for anything.
Then again there are many people worse off than I am but its my blog and I can whine if I want to right?

Off to drag down Christmas decorations.....

I totally sympathize! At least you are putting one foot in front of the other and that is all that counts.
