Cousin sleepover and the making of the panda diorama

A few weeks backs the cousins came over for a sleepover. We decided to hit the car show. Of course they all had to have kettle korn.

Then we decided to go to Avila Barn.  They fed ALL the animals and then they rode the ponies.

One of Logan's final projects for 2nd grade was making a diorama of an animal they had studied in class.  He chose Pandas.  So we checked out several panda habitats and headed over to the ranch for supplies.  We found lots of rocks and sticks and weeds and moss to use.

Then it was time to start putting it all together

We made a :Lego panda

We found a photo of a panda in a tree that we printed out and Logan tried to duplicate.  We glued the weeds along the sides to mimic bamboo and used the sticks and rocks and moss to make the forest floor.
