Is this week over yet?
Day started off ok. Went to work early with Ronan. Logan's school was closed today so Grandma was going to pick him up this morning. Judd was taking AJ, our 19 year old cat, to the vet.
Get a call about 1pm from Dr O. AJ's in pretty good health considering he is 19 but he has lost 5 pounds in a year which is NOT good. His kidney functions are not good either.
So I pick Ronan up at 3:30 so we can get back to Cambria in time to pick up AJ. We get over the last hill right before Hwy 46 hits Hwy1 and see traffic backed up in both directions as far as the eye can see. OH CRAP. So I call Grandma and tell her I don't know when we will get there since we are stuck in traffic. She tells me Logan had a good morning but turned into a crabby crab in the afternoon. Great. Call Dr O and tell him I'm stuck in traffic. The receptionist tells me the road has been closed since 3. There is a big accident. GREAT! After 40 minutes traffic finally begins to move. We get to Dr O's right about 4:45. $350 later, AJ is loaded in the car, Ronan has reached his carseat limit and is screeching at the top of his lungs. He is harmonizing well with AJ who is also telling me about his great displeasure at being poked and prodded all day. I load the bag of sub Q fluids, extra needles, special diet food and two antibiotics. Drive home. release the feline from He**. Feed Ronan. Grandma and Logan come home. Logan is naughty. Jumping on the couch, falling off the couch, pouring juice on the floor, throwing things everywhere. I'm fast losing patience. Ronan is crabby as well. Ronan pukes, AJ wants to sit on me. See on the news that the accident killed two people. Logan starts coughing. I ask if he is ok. He whispers Yes but looks rather peculiar. 2 seconds later, PUKE, PUKE and more PUKE. What to do? Move cat, lay baby down, baby starts crying, Logan starts crying, more puke. Hug Logan, clean puke off face, clean puke off floor, leave baby crying on couch, get Logan undressed. See he has also had a bout of diarrhea. Change diaper, wash hands, clean floor. Go downstairs, get Logan into jammies, Ronan continues to cry. Get teeth brushed, into bed, sing songs, play with talking puppy. Sleep. Back upstairs, feed Ronan again, finally sleeps. Ugh where is the vodka? ice cream? cookies? Something! At least Dancing with the Stars is on tonight!

oh Jeanna ... that was quite a few hours you had! sheesh. I hope the rest of the week goes by SUPER fast for ya! I also hope Logan's okay. no more sickies!!
Poor boy, at least that explains his crabbiness. Since he barely ate it is hard to imagine so much puking. I hope he is feeling better, now.
Love, Grandma
