to Great Grandma's house.
She hadn't met either of the boys so instead of the usual "we need to go visit Grandma Hilda" (that we'd done since Logan was born) we just said "we are going now!".
So we left Friday night, stayed in hotel, then visited for a few hours on Saturday and headed back home. The boys did well. Logan was really hyper at Grandma's but at least didn't break anything! I hope I look half as good as she does when I'm 90!
The trip back was terrible. There was a big accident on 5 so it took us 2 hours to go one stretch of 10 miles. Bleh. So instead of getting home at dinnertime we got home at bedtime. Oh well, alls well that ends well I guess.
We got her a digital picture frame. She was very impressed. Loved watching the pictures changed. We got a spare memory card for it and told her when she wanted new pictures to mail it back or give it to Lorrie when she visits and we will put new pictures on it for her. I wonder if she will actually do it. Maybe her son will change them for her when he visits or can add more pics of his kids too.

digital picture frames? what a great idea! we made Will's grandma a DVD of the past 3 months, so she can see how the boys have grown ... I wish I would've thought about the picture frame! how many pictures does it hold?
