Well I was going to give a shout out to Judd for stepping up and taking care of Logan while I was gone and for taking both boys to school and daycare on Thursday so I could get some sleep and watch the race but I'm taking it back!
I guess I really shouldn't be surprised considering his track record but I thought that being this is a milestone birthday he'd make some effort. Now I know he's sick but its not like he doesn't know when my birthday is for crying out loud. Plan ahead.
I HAD TO GO BUY MYSELF A CAKE. I admit my feelings are a little dented. He didn't even buy me a card from the boys.
Boo hoo. I'm going to go eat 6 pieces of Ollallieberry Cream Cake......
on a lighter note I did get some fun cards in the mail from friends. Judd's mom gave me a gold thimble that has been in the family for several generations. Going to have to try and find a small display case for it so I can hang it in my quilting room along with the first project I ever made which my Aunt Rose gave back to me after grandma died.

I think it will start by taking care of the boys while you and I go out for your birthday! what do you say? girls night out?? I think we'll start as early as possible :). we'll hit SLO, go to some fabric stores, get some yummy grub, watch a movie and get you a grande soy mocha!
