Last night I went to my friend Cheryl's house so she could teach me how to digital scrapbook. We are thinking to make this a monthly affair with other moms and food and whatnot.
Anyway its been probably 6 months since I've actually seen her in person and its the first time I've gotten to lay eyes on Owyn. So we started off ok and then we just kinda started gabbing and lo and behold it was almost 10 before I headed home. It was great fun catching up and playing with Owyn. We had a coo-fest.
I need to install the newer version of photoshop on my laptop and we will be set. Then maybe I'll actually have some real baby books.
We were laughing over how different each of our boys are. On the drive there I was remembering a time we were over there and Aidan and Logan were maybe 6mo or so. They were somewhat mobile but not alot and we were rolling a ball back and forth between them and one of us started manipulating the boys legs so they were "kicking" the ball back and forth and they were laughing so hard. It was hysterical. Now we have infants and 2 1/2 year olds. Man time flies!
I get home to find Ronan waking up. I feed him and then he proceeds to stay up until 1:30am. Yes you read that right 1:30 am. So I ended up watching all the TV shows I recorded during the week. We get to bed and he's up at 4:30 to eat then Logan was up at 6:30. Judd thankfully took that one. He got up early for some reason and was already upstairs so I made Logan go upstairs with him. I got to sleep until 8 so that was nice and Judd even cleaned up and made breakfast! Yay Dad.
We are going to hit Costco this afternoon.
And I found out the bribery works wonders on Logan. He's been peeing on the potty at school but won't do it here. Everytime I ask he says "no mommy I'm just (insert whatever he is doing) right now). So this morning he discovered the Dove chocolates I bought to try out a dessert and wanted to have one. I said " I'll give you one if you go pee on the potty" and the lil bugger ran to the bathroom and promptly peed on the potty. Of course I had to pay up but hey he did it. Hopefully I won't have to give him chocolate everytime he pees.
Its a reasonably nice day today so maybe we can get out of a walk or something./....

I'm glad you got to sleep in. Owyn was up for a couple more hours after you left! he would doze off, we'd put him down, then he'd wake up crying :(. gave him some Mylicon, dozed off again, then woke up crying. sooo, we finally gave him some Tylenol. poor little guy was just so cranky and tired. a few minutes later, he zonked out. not sure if it was the tylenol or just plain exhaustion.
it was great seeing you last night! we can't go 6 months again ... not cool ;). alrighty, have a wonderful weekend!! oh, and don't forget to capture that video for us!
