Bleh we are being inundated with smoke and ash from the fires in Big Sur and King City. Its so smokey and hazy. YUK. They have Hwy 1 closed at Big Sur and so far 16 homes are destroyed and another 500 are threatened. Not good. Its so hard to fight a fire there too since its all steep, forest. Last night they said it was only 3% contained and you could even SMELL the fire.
But on a lighter note, last night was my quilt group meeting and Suzanne was hosting. She is British so we had a "proper English Tea" . It was sooooo fun! some of the other ladies brought their daughters and we had a great time.
Lots of yummy tea sandwiches and cookies and real English scones. YUM!
