Happy Birthday to Judd (yesterday)

Judd hit the big 40 mark yesterday.  I surprised him with a friend.  I planned a golf outing and we left for swim lessons.  He thought he was just going to meet Clay and Beau at the golf course.  He came upstairs to find Deryck.  He rode 18 hours on the train to come down.  Now thats a friend!

They headed off to golf and after a delay in start had a good time.  None of them are particularly good but each had a few moments of "hey that went just where I wanted it to) 

Ronan had his first time in the "big kid" swim class.  Luckily it was just Logan in there with him so it wasn't too crazy.  He did pretty good.  She started to teach him the chicken, airplane, rocket sequence.

Logan also got his present from Gramma and Grandpa,  he loves it

After the golf outing it was time to head to dinner.  We went to Shawns on Main in Morro Bay.  It was DIVINE.

First course was a mixed green salad or roasted pepper soup.  2nd course was bruschetta with goat cheese and roasted tomato or seared ahi.

3rd course was grilled tiger shrimp or flat iron steak

and dessert was chocolate almond sticky toffee pudding or cherry pot de creme

We left stuffed to the brim.  Very yummy.

Deryck is a chef so today Judd wants to take him to Taco Temple.  The boys and  I are going to a birthday party
