Adventure #3

So we set off after swim and headed up to Monterey

We got to My museum.  It was pretty awesome.  We spent about 3 hours there and had to pry the boys out.

The aquarium was PACKED.  We've been lucky the last few times we've gone there was hardly anyone there.  The last member event we went to there was hardly anyone there.  This was sheer madness.  We spent two hours there and saw hardly anything.  It was not very fun.  AND the sea dragons were closed as were the penguins.  Not happy campers.

 I had to make do with these lil guys but it was closing by that point so I didn't get to view them long

We pricelined a stay at the Portola Hotel & Spa.  It was pretty swank.  They have a pirates club for kids so they both got a pirate booty chest filled with stickers, tattoos, eye patches (obviously)money and jewels.  And two lil plastic pirates which did a lot of swashbuckling during our stay.  They had to wear their accoutremonts to dinner where Logan had Landlubber Pizza and Ronan had the Swashbuckler hotdog and Skallywag fries.  I was hoping one would get the Macaaaaaarrrroni and Cheese just because it was so darn fun to say.

And our landslide is getting worse.  This was the start, last week

When we came home it looked like this.....

The crack is now 4 inches across.  When we came back from a bday party someone had put out cones and a sandwich board caution sign thing.  Hopefully it stays put but you can see there is still water seeping out so who knows how long it will last.  At least there is no rain in the forcast this week.
