My dad called Monday night to tell me that they had to call 911 and get mom to the hospital. It started with a fall out of bed. Once they finally got her up, she could hardly breathe and she wanted to wait until 10 am and go see her regular dr but Dad called 911 instead. Good thing too as she was unconscious and about as close to drowning as a person could be on dry land.
She is still in ICU and sedated and on a ventilator. They are suctioning the fluid out and she is on massive doses of antibiotics. They have run all sorts of tests on her lungs, liver and heart to determine what if any addtional damage has been done. Its pretty much all up to her now I guess. Right now they can't even say when they will take her off the ventilator. They were hoping for tomorrow but its pretty much wait and see now. Dad and Jaye will be going in tomorrow again and maybe they will have more news.
Ronan and mom share the same birthday which was Tuesday of this week and selfish as it is to admit out loud all I could think was "please don't die on his birthday".
I let him open the presents from Grandma and Grandpa Monday night. He scored Thomas stuff!
We went to Applebees where he had a corndog and french fries and was one happy camper. His party is tomorrow so there will be more merriment then.
