One month down

Wow its already February!

We do the same things over and over and over the time just flies by.

I got these on Ebay for Ronan's birthday.

 We decided to try them out by making our own gummies.

 Looks yummy

 Melting away

 Not so good with the pouring.

 But they do look like gummies

 all in all it wasn't that hard but they pretty much taste like really chewy jello.  Going to try them with plain old fruit juice and gelatin and see what happens.

 Other than that we took the boys to the Bean for some ice cream.

 And they had a camp out in the living room on the couch.  I really don't understand  why they like sleeping on that thing.  Its terrible!

 And there was some "take a picture of me" going on.

Logan had his first field trip for this year.  They went to the Cal Poly Dairy. They have been studying nutrition this trimester.  Boy I've been hearing all about the food pyramid and I need this in my lunch and that on my plate for dinner.  Mom thats an "extra"  I need more protein (well if you'd actually EAT it I'd give it to you).
But he had a grand time.  They got to see all the cows and see how the milk is produced and taste test all the products.  He passed on tasting the cheese but said the ice cream was "the best ever".

I'm roughly 1/3 of my goal for the MS Bike Challenge.  The weather has been wonky so I haven't gotten many rides in but I have been doing spin class at the gym so hopefully that helps.

Going to attempt to go the Aquarium again this month.  Hopefully there will be no barfing this time. Although Ronan announced "I HATE the Aquarium".  He has now decided he hates everything but Ninjago.
