Another tooth pulled

So at the end of February we went in for the boys 6 mo checkup.  Logan had updated Xrays and we found that the permanent tooth in the space where we had his hooked baby tooth removed was not growing correctly.  Instead of growing up and out it appeared it was growing sideways along his jaw.  It was pushing on the root of his molar and causing it to fall forward into the space.  So we went for a consultation with the same oral surgeon who took out the baby tooth.    His opinion was to remove it as there was no way it was ever going to grow up as it should it would either try and continue along his jaw or out either side.

So this morning we went in.

 And afterwards, All is well mom.  They said he did great.  They didn't let me back there while they put him out but they said he did great.  No fussing, he was just chatting away.  He totally didn't remember going to sleep which I guess is good.  He told me he was awake the whole time.  He also told the nurse his favorite ride at Disneyland was Indiana Jones.  (We've never been to Disney)

 After stopping for a Jamba Juice we headed home.  I bought him a new Lego set as a distraction and he set to work.

 About 1 it was really starting to hurt so he got some Advil and watched some cartoons with Mac.

 He's done really well.  His little cheek is swollen and its really starting to hurt but he's been really good about it.

 And here is the stubborn tooth that wouldn't cooperate.

Still not sure if he will go to school tomorrow.  We'll see how he feels when he gets up.
