Chlorine, Smoke and Puke

Nice title eh?

Well yesterday had all of the above.

Chlorine:
Logan had his second swim lesson. He had a fun time. He actually only took about 5 minutes to get in. He still wouldn't go swim with the teacher but he followed along on the steps. PROGRESS.

Smoke:
Well they are getting a handle on the fires but yesterday and today we have health advisories because the smoke is SO bad. Its the worst since the fires began. NASTY.

Puke:
Ahh the joys of motherhood. Ronan picked up a bug or had food poisoning or something. Between Logan's school and the pool (about 5 minutes) he puked up his water and popcorn snack he'd been having at Joyce's. Got him cleaned up at the pool then while we were watching the lesson, he started crying and then puked 2 more times. Just water mostly. Then when we were headed home he started screaming and sure enough another puke. He whimpered most of the way home and fell asleep. Got home and put him in the crib. He was in there about an hour sleeping then I heard him crying. I go down and once again more puke. Get him cleaned up and upstairs and just about every hour he'd start whimpering then do that shrill high pitched pain scream (you mom's know the one) then puke. At this point it was basically the heaves and bile but it must have hurt his throat and he was probably having some type of cramps as well. Poor guy. After getting Logan to bed, he fell asleep on me and same thing was going on while he was trying to sleep. He'd start whimpering, wake up, heave then go back to sleep. Lasted until 2 am. Gave him a couple swallows of water and he kept those down then a few more around 4am. And of course today Logan decided it was time to get up at 5:30.

I had to go in to do the payroll so Judd stayed home with Ronan. He's eaten a waffle, some cheerios and 2 bottles of water and is currently destroyed a PB&J. No puke but there was a diaper disaster. Otherwise he seems fine. No fever or anything else so hopefully the worst is over!
