Sat morning we headed over to Roaring Camp Railroads to go visit Thomas.

These are the "cattle cars" they load you into for the ride through the redwoods. Man at $18 a shot they had to make loads as there were 7 cars and they took like 10 trips a day!

Unfortunately this is how Ronan spent most of the train trip

Then of course we had to get some tattoos. Ronan picked Thomas
Logan picked James to match his shirt. Notice the nice talc "steam"
Then there was the playing with the train table setups. Of all of the things there this was the most disappointing. This table was actually in one of the stores rather than the Imagination Station set up outside. There they had 2 train tables and 1 lego table. Each one had maybe 2 trains on it and 6-8 kids trying to play with them. Not a good scene. Considering how large the place was they could have easily fit another 5 tables in there or made up a giant one that kids could go all the way around and inside of. Not good planning on their part.

He we are windblown and covered with Ronan's face wiping on my shirt at the end of the day
Then back at the hotel we hit the pool then the shower. Ronan was acting like he had to go poop so I stuck him on the toilet. Instead of pooping he just liked sticking his bum in the water....

Also we were sitting out on the "deck" and Ronan decided to climb on the little table there. Of course the freakin thing falls over with him on it and its made of GLASS! Hello? Glass table at a hotel? So he's laying there in a million pieces of glass. I'm yelling at Logan to get inside because of course none of us have shoes on and Logan's trying see whats going on. I'm yelling at Ronan to stay still. I pick him up, get him inside and give him the once over. He's got a puncture wound right near his nipple, a scratch on the underside of his forearm and one in between his fingers. This one was the most difficult to deal with as it was hard to bandage. The worst one over all was the one by his nipple. I had a couple of small scratches on my feet and Logan got away with none at all. I called the front desk to have someone come out and clean it up. Wonder how much that things going to cost me on my bill!
Sunday we went to the Boardwalk
Logan would have stayed and played all day.
This was the only ride Ronan went on the Pepsi semi truck ride.
My camera died after that. I have to note for future use as soon as the battery icon shows any decline to recharge that sucker. It will show 1/4 gone and then poof, game over. The only ride Logan went on that he didn't like was the dragon roller coaster. He made the first lap ok then the screaming of the other kids and the clanking of the coaster got to him and he cried the rest of the ride. There was a helicoptor ride he really liked and he and I went on the starfish ride which basically just whips you around in a circle really fast. We also went on a car one that was similar. He really like the Nascar ride too. But it was time to go so we had to cramp his style and leave.

Glad you all enjoyed Thomas (minus the train tables - kinda the same thing when he comes here!).

That sounds like a BLAST J! Minus the glass, I'm so sorry. How scary and how stupid for them to have that there. Poor kid. Glad you guys still had fun!
Sounds like fun!! I hope the hotel doesn't charge you, its not like you were throwing a party. lol Glad everyone made it out ok without serious injury.
