Ok so I totally hosed and arranged to go for a bike ride with my friend Cass not realizing it was Mother's Day weekend.
So we missed Gramma's birthday and Uncle Clay's birthday party (although I don't think it was a family friendly affair) and the Mother's Day extravaganza. Bad on me.
But on the other hand, I got to spend some quality time with a friend I've known nearly my entire life. 40 years and counting! Got to do a fun ride (minus the cramps) and have fun with all the kids together.
So sorry Gramma we missed your birthday, hopefully your present will make up for it. I think you'll like it (hahahaha)

Gramma did not mind a bit. I think every mother should celebrate Mother's Day the way she wants to, including you! As to the birthday...well, I had a wonderful day with friends. And Clay's party was a mixture of kid friendly and probably not so kid friendly, but I left before that part. lol Oh, and I usually like the gifts you pick...you have a real knack!
