Tomorrow I am off to serve others. We have a whole team going down to Santa Barbara to participate in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.
We are headed down to check in and I have an All Crew meeting at 5. Then we are off to whoop it up at the Palace Grill. I really hope they have the jambalaya pasta on the menu still. It is AWESOME.
Saturday we will be up at some unmentionable hour to get over to opening ceremonies, then I'll head off to my crew assignment. My team will be climbing hill and dale and I'll be working at a Quick Stop handing out water and Gaterade, hugs, cheers and smiles. I'm at mile 19ish so on Sunday I won't be out on the road I'll be in the camp helping to pack up everything for next year. Then it will be closing ceremonies and head back home.
