Walk on Day 1

On Friday we headed down to Santa Barbara to participate in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer.  WE had 2 crew members, me and Nancy, and 6 walkers, Val, Sasha, Jill, Joy, Elaine and Lynne.

Being seasoned veterans with the walks and rides under our belts we opted for staying at the hotel rather than camping.  It was at the Fess Parker Resort

We had a little happy hour prior to checking in and going to our meetings

After our meetings were completed we went to the Palace Grill for some supreme Cajun grub.  I had the Jambalaya Pasta.  Yum City.

They made us a special bread pudding for dessert

Then it was time for bed.  4:30 comes very early!
