Seven on Sunday

I'm regressing....

1)  Had to have a chat with Logan's teacher.   Seems he is pushgin the envelope at school.  He'll be misbehaving and she will tell him to stop, he stops, as soon as she turns her back he is at it again.

2)  Ronan is trying to slowly kill me via sleep deprivation.  He got up at 5 yesterday.  Really 5?  Why? why why?  But I guess it is progress he's not moaning for me in the middle of the night and needing me to sleep with him to get any sleep at all but 5?  Really?  Blah

3)  New boxing gym is still not ready so I didn't get any exercise last week other than riding to pick up the boys from school.  Humph.

4)  Have to go and have my annual blood work done tomorrow.  Hope its all ok.  I'm always afraid the diabetes will come back.  That would suck

5)  Both boys had meltdowns at swim.  Ronan just cried a little but Logan had a complete fit.

6)  They both got haircuts yesterday too.  Funny how a haircut can make them look far older than they are.

7)  Logan had a HUGE meltdown in the afternoon.    He was playing Indiana Jones with Dad and started whining about not being able to do something and the rule is whining = game over.  And holy cow you'd have thought he'd been mortally wounded or something.  So into his room to calm down and he was supposed to come up and tell me he was sorry for interrupting my nap and he came up and then said he was scared and started freaking out again so back to his room to calm down and he fell asleep.  Don't know whats going on with that boy but his emotions are all over the map.  I tried to talk to him about it but he either can't express it yet or he just doesnt know.  Its so frustrating.

Maybe the acting out at school and the melt downs are all interconnected. Something may be going on at school...it is so hard to get them to talk about things at this age. They often can't verbalize they are being bullied, or they just don't like someone, or the teacher made them feel bad about themselves or that little girl won't leave them alone! Logan is not a great communicator any way... he reminds me so much of Judd when he was little. Good luck. Saying prayers.

Awwww Jeanna. Many hugs. I can so relate with you on the wild ride of emotions. Matt is in is "calm stage" now, but when those emotions get going, watch out. I found out there is a girl hugging him "too hard" at daycare on the days he has no school. He had been freaking out whenever I made him come inside with me to get K. Who knew that a hug could make him so upset, especially since he is a great hugger. So like I Write said, it could be something just like that that is bothering him. These little guys are growing so fast.
