Six on Saturday

What do you know another week has gone by and its time for another installment

1)  Thursday was awesome!  Got the results back from my blood work and everything was normal!  Woot!  No diabetes, no high cholestoral (how the heck do you spell that?) and no thyroid problems.

2)  I got to work out at the new boxing gym!  Its not completely done but enough to use the equipment anyway.  It certainly is no frills.  There isn't even a bathroom!  WTH did I get myself into?  Although I highly recommend it as a really fun way to exercise and its a great stress reliever.  Whacking the crap out of the heavy bag is quite fun.

3)  Friday I helped with Logan's Valentines day party.  Boy talk about herding cats!  How those teachers manage to keep that many kids on track for longer than 3 minutes is nothing short of astounding.  We were helping them put all their cards in each kids bag and it was semi controlled chaos the entire time.

4)  It was quite nice to meet some of the other mothers and share horror entertaining stories about our kidlets.  Its nice to know I'm not the only one dealing with the same issues of picky eating, selective listening and out and out defiance.

5)  Ronan has another cold and has generously shared it with me.  Go away germs.  Could we please have a few weeks where someone isn't hacking, snorting, sniffling and/or blowing/wiping snot all over the forkin place?  Do 3 year olds not know what a tissue is?  I know I've shown him a 100(ok maybe 15) times.  Wipe your nose on a tissue not your arm/couch, my sleeve.  GAH

6)  Can anyone show me how to shut off the husband repelling feature on my dishwasher?  I'd love to know.    No additional forward momentum is needed to reach said dishwasher a simple left turn and slight bend at the waist and voila!  But mine for some unknown reason emits some sort of repellant that keeps that final step from happening.  Doesn't matter if its full or empty works all the time.  Empty dishwasher = dishes in the sink, dishewasher full of clean dishes = dishes in the sink, full of dirty dishes = dishes in the sink.

Bonus item

Piss Ants!  The little forkin things are slowly driving me insane.  I'm trying not to pesticide them since they are coming in my kitchen but ARGH.  I've scrubbed their trails, I've stuck cleaner in every crack I can see and they are still coming in.  Not alot but there is always one or two marching around.

Ants...sprinkle salt along the area where they are coming in and you won't see them coming in at that place again.
