another bunch of nothing.
I did however ride my bike last weekend a whopping 15 1/2 miles.
This weekend Ronan's best friend in the whole wide world is having his birthday party so we are pretty excited for that. Its weird to think they have known each other for 3 1/2 years already. They meet in the "toddler" class and have been pretty much inseparable ever since.
Daddy and Logan and having a "mens day" . Which probably means they will sit on the couch and play video games all day.
Monday we have off for MLK so we are going up to the Aquarium for our first visit of the year. Ronan says he doesn't like it which distresses me to no end. I love love love the Aquarium and could sit there and watch the fishies and seahorses and jellies swim around all day. Why do my kids not like anything I like? humph, would it be too much to ask for one of them to like something I like. Neither likes to ride their bikes, go for walks, zip. How unfair is that?
We had to do family sharing for Ronan last week. While preparing his board I found a list of 20 questions to ask and he put Ninja as what he wants to be when he grows up. However since then we have watched a couple of episodes of the Ninjago cartoon series (Ronan is very into Ninjago) and has since decided Lord Garmadon is much too scary and he doesn't want to be a ninja anymore he wants to be a fireman like Parker.
Well, he does have a few years to decide.
Been trying to decide what my next quilt project will be. I have a few ideas and loads of fun batik fabrics thanks to my dad. I did make this a bit ago. It was fun trying to puzzle out how to put it together. I think I might try it with flannel next time.
I also made some apple cranberry jam.
Its pretty good but definitely an adult flavor. Its pretty tart even with the added sugar.
I still have cranberries left over and I'm going to attempt to dry them this weekend. Wish me luck
