We loaded up the card and hauled up to grandpa's for Christmas. We always rent a place when we go up there as the motels there are dire. Its rather a waste of money since we are rarely at the place we stay but the motels are not a whole lot cheaper. I'd rather pay an extra $75 and get a whole place than a dirty run down room.
The place we rented this time was HUGE. I didn't know it was a B&B so it was a little weird having the owners there too. You could totally tell htey did most of the work themselves. Things didn't quite line up, doors and drawers didn't open all the way. It was not laid out well at all. Not efficient. If you were cooking in that kitchen you'd be running back and forth. Good exercise I guess.

We had our own version of a white Christmas. Frost! It was COLD.
James took the boys on a quad ride. They were pretty excited. If they weren't half frozen they would have had him drive them around all day.
Judd took the boys into Eureka to shop for presents and while they were gone, Grandpa and I put together Ronan's Santa present. The Ninjago battle arena.

They got to open one present on Christmas eve
Look its the Ninjago present they picked out for each other. Its all they could talk about and it caused quite a fit pitching in the store. Grandma took them Christmas shopping too and they got to chose a present for themselves that was from the other. Ronan chose Knuckle and then thought Logan was going to get it. He was quite upset. It was the only presents they even considered opening. They talked about it the whole way up.
Then on Christmas it was present mania. How did Santa get our stockings up here?

But then it was time to go home...
Ronan refused to be in the picture.
He was pretty tired. Lots of late nights.
Logan whiled away the drive playing angry birds on my phone.
When we got home we just unloaded everything and went to bed. (its still kinda there in that pile unfortunately)
And they got these the next day 'cause I did not want to haul them up there and back.
That sucked up 6 hours of my life putting those things together.
We really need to do some toy overhaul here. They have way too many and we have too little space.
On to 2012.
