A giant update

Now that my laptop actually works correctly again maybe I can update more than once every 6 weeks or so.

Our avdentures include:

A trip to Avila Valley Barn.  I rode my bike down there and we met at the beach trying to see the whales that were hanging out but we didn't see them so we headed to the barn and went out and picked some apples.

And then it was time for the first day of school!  My baby is a kindergartener!  He is such a stud muffin.

Logan picked out his outfit himself.  He is now a 2nd grader

Here is his room.  It is right next to the playground.

Signing in.  He got the "afternoon" class so he goes to Leslie's after I drop Logan off and she take him and Jonathan at 10:30

It took Logan all weekend but he earned enough tickets to win this rifle set.

Trying to get him off these training wheels but he ain't going for it.  He won't even use the glide bike.

My friend Val won tickets to Discovery Kingdom so she passed them on to us.  So we headed up there and went.

At first they were not too sure about going into the shark tunnel but then it was "way cool mom"

They really didn't ride too  many rides but they did venture on a few

Logan fed the seals.

and petted the manta rays.  They really liked Ronan for some odd reason.  They all would come really close to him and a couple even spyhopped him but he would not NO HOW touch one.

We made it to the tiger show

and the dolphin show.

No elephant rides were going.

They fed the giraffe.

This little dude took a liking to me but the little sucker bit me when I wouldn't give him anything to eat.

Logan and I went on the pirate boat 4 times.  He loved it.

and of all the multitudes of souvenier stuff, Logan wanted these sunglasses.

He wore them the rest of the day

Logan and Kayla checking us out on the last ride of the day.  Max and Dani and Kayla came later in the day to meet us.

We went to an Italian place as the boys wanted spaghetti.  Ronan didn't make it until the food got there.

We found out the next morning why.  We went down to the continental breakfast at the hotel and after about 3 bites of cereal he said he wasn't feeling well.  His stomach hurt (he hadn't eaten anything since about 3pm the previous day).  So we went back to the room and about 5 minutes later he started barfing.  Thankfully since he hadn't eaten anything it wasn't too bad but it continued for the next 4 hours.   We hit Target before we left to pick up some Peptol and a barf bucket.  Ronan thought it made a better hat.

The bad part of our Discovery Kingdom adventure.  Sat morning we rolled out to go to breakfast  and found our car broken into.  They got 3 cars in a row, in broad daylight.  The lady next to us said she had come out about 9:30 to get her GPS and everything was fine.  When she brought it back to the car about 10 all her electronics were gone.  They didn't take anything from us.  Not even money we had in the console.  Just broke the window and made a huge mess.    They even went through the first aid kit!

See that shiny piece on the floor?  Well  Judd threw that out and the mobile glass guy could not install our new window.

So we had to ride home and for about a week afterward with a nice fancy cardboard window.

Logan was convinced it was the worst day of his life.  Although after a day at the park he decided it wasn't so bad.
