The Bloom is off the Rose

Well Day 4 of Preschool was not the greatest. It may be that he was just tired but once we got inside he just clung like a limpet. They couldn't go outside and play as it was raining. Leftovers from the night before, he cried and screamed. I felt like a total heel leaving him. But when I went to pick him up he was his usual sunny self. Wed night we had thunderstorms all night long, so that may have contributed to his tiredness. I didn't hear him during the night so I don't know if the booming and flashing bothered him. Here are a couple of pics from our local news website:

It was quite a show. It will be interesting to see how Tuesday goes.

Today we were supposed to have a photo shoot with Grandma. We bought her a gift certificate for Xmas to have a generational session done. She waited till Ronan was big enough to participate. Anyway it was supposed to be at 3pm. I had to wake Logan up from his nap, get him in his photo clothes, get Ronan in his and get over to the studio. The amount of whining and crying going on over here (not just by the boys either!) did not bode well for a smooth shoot. Judd calls about 2:40 saying he's running late (surprise!) and to bring his clothes to the studio. Grandma calls at 2:45 and says "did Clay tell you the shoot was canceled?" I'm like "uhh NO!" She said "yea, he said the photographer called him 2 days ago and canceled" Well it would have been nice if the info was passed along!! I don't really get why she called Clay when the shoot was scheduled by Grandma but oh well. We all wasted a lot of time getting ready for this thing. Well I guess Grandma, Judd & I did since Clay already knew it was canceled. So we changed clothes again and went to the park.

Tomorrow is Pinedorado weekend here. Going to the parade in the morning and will head over to the Pinedorado grounds to see if Logan will go in the bounce house or go on the little car ride. Should be interesting.
