Our First Day

of preschool and back to work.

Logan was a rock star. I got up at 6 (gads), got his lunch together along with his nap stuff, change of clothes, admission forms. Took a shower and Dad got Logan up & dressed (and Ronan too, go dad!) Upstairs for some breakfast and load up the car and we are out the door by 7:45. Even Judd was ready, and if you know Judd this is some sort of divine intervention!
So we arrive and I have to change Ronan and realize I FORGOT LOGAN'S DIAPERS!! Crappity Crap & crap. Good thing the school is right across the street from a store. We go in and get him checked in and I hotfoot it across the street, while Judd stays with Logan. Logan meanwhile makes a bee-line out the backdoor to the play area. I get back with the diapers and Judd said he never once looked for us. Guess I was worried for nothing! When I come back to pick him up, he's outside playing on the slide. He sees me, smiles, says "hi mom" then continues on his way. I ask if he's ready to go "no mom". Hmmmph, guess he didn't miss me a bit.

Work however didn't go quite so smoothly. Our IT guy was out all last week so my computer is not functional. My office isn't either but that will come, I can't do anything without my computer! Poor Ronan had a bit of a rough day too. He doesn't sleep well during the day at home so it was much worse there. I'd be surprised if he slept more than an hour. Hopefully he will adjust.

Logan was pooped too. Got him in the bath and to bed 1/2 hour early and there was no fuss. He was conked within 10 minutes. I think I may hit the hay early too..
