Clay found this costume. I don't know where and I'm not sure I want to and rode incognito along the parade route.
Here are the boys putting money in the piggy bank while we were setting up the float.

Our $20,000 bike.....
This year the theme was some weird Tourism theme and we had no idea what to do so we decided to do a float with the top 5 reasons to visit Cambria on it. #1 of course was our Way Cool Bike Shop.
#2 is having some Ollalieberry, or whatever other kind you prefer, pie at Linns.
# 3 was A Castle (not shown 'cause the sucker kept falling over) and #4 was the Elephant Seals and # 5 was Sea, Sand & Surf. The last was painted by Ronan and Logan.(except for the letters, I did those)
Here is Bobby testing out his postion on the bike. Poor guy nearly had heat stroke.

Made it the whole route with no mishaps.
My boys watching the parade. Daddy was super smart and brought the headphones for Logan. He said he didn't cry at all but whenever a float would come by that he thought might be loud he put the earphones on.
Afterwards it was time for a little driving, hahaha can't catch me....
Ronan was pooped
Logan won a basketball hoop and Ronan an alligator playing the fishing game. And Logan got a beach ball as a handout from one of the floats
All in all not a bad day except Ronan only slept about 20 minutes and Logan hasn't at all. Doesn't bode well for nighttime. I expect much wailing and gnashing of teeth (probably all me).
tomorrow we have swim then we will head to the car show and back to the grounds for another round of games and whatnot. Gotta use up the Pinedorado scrip.
