How do you stay at home mom's do it? I'm pooped and its only 4:30. I still have to finish the laundry and make dinner.
Had to stay home with Ronan today. He's been a tad under the weather the past few days.
I think that it teething but I don't really know. He's had a low grade fever on an off for 2 days. And he is a grouchy bear! His nose was running like mad but it was clear so who knows? When he is not feeling well he is also a cling on!
We did manage to get to the grocery store and while he napped 2 1/2 hours(!) I managed to get the floors swept and mopped and the plants water and everything dusted And I watched The Holiday while this flurry of cleaning was going on. Rather cute movie.
But really how do you get anything done when the kids are home? This morning before we left all I was doing was following him from mess to mess. Amazing how such a small person can make such a giant mess.
Well anyway I need to get dinner going as the other boys will be home soon.

Poor little toot! I hope that he feels much better tomorrow..I am glad that he was able to get some good mommy time in though! I bet he was so happy it was just you guys home today so he could snuggle.
Sounds like you got alot accomplished too! That movie is adorable, I watched it not that long ago...
I hear you on the following one mess to another..it seems that is what I do here too!

sorry to hear about Ronan :(. no fun being sick when it's just gorgeous outside. I hope the rest of the fam stays healthy!! you got A LOT done in 2.5 hours! I usually have to wait and let Will do the mopping around here (after the kids go to bed). amazing the amount of cleaning you got done. wanna come over here? for a couple of hours??
Seriously. I manage as a Stay at Home mom by getting nothing done but keeping the kids fed and alive! :-) Pat yourself on the back for "doing it all"!
