Some good news today, actually lots of good news today.
My campaign manager called and she is faxing in the paperwork to transfer me to the Ride around Lake Tahoe in June AND TNT had not run the charges for the "extras" for the event so I didn't have to pay for those (non refundable usually). These are the charges for extra tickets to the victory party and the pasta party and if you want family/friends to stay in your hotel room. I'd booked it so Judd and the boys could stay with me and my friend Cass could come to the victory party but since they had not run the charges yet I don't have to pay for them!
And I got a text from an online friend that she is in labor! She was due Nov 1. Early yes but her first baby was 4 weeks early so at least this one got a little more cooking time. haha
AND I got news that another friend got the job she'd applied for and gotten 750 million call back interviews for. Its a really exciting opportunity for her. YAY
So a happy post! Although I feel another rant coming on as I'm perusing my election stuff and good googly moogly you practically need a law degree to figure out some of these initatives. Criminy.

There is always a silver lining. Just ask me as I've had to search hard for it this year. I found it though so I know its there.
