First training done!

Had my first Team in Training run today. It was 3 miles. We discussed proper form and how to get from our current fitness level to the next.
So it was suggested for me and another girl who are starting from ground ZERO to try and practice short quick steps and do a combo of run walk. So run for a minute, walk for 2, etc etc for the first few training runs. Each time you train you should try and increase the run portion by a small amount, say a minute and half then 2 then 3 etc etc and pretty soon we will be running the whole way.
Needless to say we were both a tad sceptical but we tried it and it worked pretty good. So on to the next training session!
And just so you know, I WILL BE HITTING YOU UP FOR MONEY! So be prepared!

Good for you, Jeanna! I signed up for Moms in Motion this season to try and get my butt in gear. So far, it has been extremely humbling. Let's hope we both make it across the finish line in one piece!
