The week is over!
Been a busy bee. Had a seminar on Human Resources and the Law for 2 days. very informative but also very depressing in realizing all the things we need to update/fix and or create. We are lucky in that we are just under the radar as far as most of the leave laws but we will likely soon be big enough that they will start to apply to us so we have to get our policies in place now.
Then tonight my friend Gail is getting married so that is going to be fun. Will see a few people I haven't seen in a long time.
Tomorrow is my first official Team in Training run. So THAT should be very interesting considering my current level of ability. I did manage to get a couple of runs in but its going to be rough going. My only option really is going to be getting up at 5 to go to the gym to hit the treadmill. I can't do it afterwork or during the day so a little less sleep is in my future for the next 3 months. guess its a good thing Ronan is sleeping better at night!
Logan is king of the potty now. Been to school in underwear all week and NO accidents. Still not a big fan of pooping on the potty, he tends to wait until morning when he is still in his overnight diaper. But at least he is not totally resistant like he used to be. Although I really wanted to strangle him yesterday. He hucked all his diggers and some of his cars over the deck. He doesn't seem to realize we live on the side of a cliff therefore, whatever you huck over the side you will NOT see again.
All of our fishies are still alive and swimmin. Have to do a partial water change this weekend so that may change. Got to leave the new water at room temp for 24 hours with the water conditioner and algea control stuff in it, then add it to the tank. Jeepers such work for such little fishies. Although the brown one is getting pretty big, he/she/it is a food hog.
And my dad let me know that my mom has cataracts in both eyes that require surgery. She also is completely blind in one eye due to a whole in the retina. The doc said that could be fixed after the cataract is removed but it would require laser surgery and a two to three day hospitalization. So of course she REFUSES to do that one. I can't imagine anyone choosing to be blind. It boggles my mind. At least she is somewhat willing to have the cataract surgery. Considering the things she likes to do: read, watch TV; crossword puzzles; computer games you would think that she would choose to see rather than be blind but I guess that is what stubborness and and absolute loathing of doctors will do for you. Boggled I tell you!

I am so not diligent when it comes to cleaning those things. I'm sorry to hear about your mom. my grandma's like that. very stubborn! her way's the only way!! have a great weekend friend!!!
